- Standard mats are available in 4-ply unless otherwise noted. 
- Conservation-quality matboard is acid-free and lignin-free throughout the surface, with a white core and backing, unless otherwise noted.
- Mats are bevel cut at the opening unless otherwise specified.
- All 11x14 Conservation Show Kits meet the conservation standards set by the Fine Art Trade Guild.
- Mats are buffered with calcium carbonate to an alkaline reserve of 3-5% pH 8.5-9.5.
